Holy mackerel

It’s not easy, is it?

Choosing words and pictures that sum up what you do - that make you sound really good (without sounding smug) - and might get someone to actually pay to work with you.

Which means you’d probably like some help.

But first you want to know:

  • - What does it cost?
  • - Is this chump any good?
  • - What happens if I go ahead?
  • - And what d’you mean, GoodWeird?

Here’s what you need to know…

What it costs

Process

Five stages.
We lock each one together before moving on - so the project stays on budget, and you always know where we are.

Discovery - A proper questionnaire, then a recorded conversation. How you speak matters as much as what you say.

Strategy - What’s distinctive about you, who it’s for, and where you sit in the world. A few directions; you choose one.

Words - Every page of your website, written in your voice - drawn from what you actually said, not a house style.

Identity - Type, colour, feel. Routes first, so you’re choosing, not approving. (Photography here, where location permits.)

Build - I build the site, you see it working, it goes live. I handle the hosting so you don’t need to worry about any tech.

GoodWeirding

Most brand strategy works by sanding down the edges, optimising toward safety, crushing the life out of what makes you interesting.

I do the opposite. I look for the strange, specific, irreducible thing about how you work, and make it the centre of everything.

The counterintuitive truth is… the things you’re tempted to leave out are usually the things that create the deepest connection with the people who need you most.

That’s the weirding. It requires a bit more courage on your part, and some astute questions and generous listening on mine.

That do ya?

If that ticks your boxes, the next step is a conversation.

Drop me a line and we’ll find a time.
